Education Marketing is an independent education and family counseling service which provides assistance to families and teens in need of a specialty school or program. We work for you! Our highly trained and experienced staff works for you in finding the best possible solution to the issues being faced by your family and your teenager.
We represent the child and the family, not the schools. The placement industry is filled with companies who either work directly for one school or a select group of schools. These "placement services" are paid high commissions by the schools for each teen who enrolls in their program. Although these placement services may market themselves as a free service there to help the parents with their teen, the commissions they earn from their "select group" of schools may drive them to place your child in a program based on money instead of qualifications. Commissions can range from $1000 up to $3000 for every placement. Most of these placement services justify their earnings by saying that this saves the parents money. In the long run, the parents always end up paying the commission in the way of increased application fees or monthly tuition, while potentially ruining the objectivity of their counselors. There is a better way!
Our staff is dedicated to bringing change to the troubled teen industry. We are dedicated to integrity in marketing and counseling. We do not accept payments or commissions from schools or programs. In fact, we will not even refer parents to schools and programs who participate in this type of marketing activity. Not only do we not want your child in the wrong program, we also do not want the treatment of your child jeopardized by fellow students who are in the wrong program. We are upfront and honest about our dealings and our intentions. We work for the family to find the best program for their child. We suggest only schools that have been screened, approved, and even visited by our team of Educational Consultants.
